Wow, whoever made this ad was sadly misinformed about the foundations of Rosie the Riveter. Also Maid to Clean? Like as in women are “Made to Clean.” This is embarrassing, even for a small business slogan. Gross.

I can totally relate to this NYT article about using your phone or other device instead of just enjoying the moment. This holiday season, I came home to visit my parents in Providence, RI. During my stay, I was tucked away in a small in-law my ‘rents have behind the house. I made a rule that under no circumstances would I bring my cell phone in the “regular” house. Now it hasn’t been easy, but it’s certainly easier to watch the Patriots score a touchdown without a cell phone in hand. And to see how happy my parents are together :)

Great review of Young Adult - which was different than I expected (and nothing can ruin a movie like expectations). Overall it was a well-written Diablo Cody film that deserves a second look this holiday season.
