I can totally relate to this NYT article about using your phone or other device instead of just enjoying the moment. This holiday season, I came home to visit my parents in Providence, RI. During my stay, I was tucked away in a small in-law my ‘rents have behind the house. I made a rule that under no circumstances would I bring my cell phone in the “regular” house. Now it hasn’t been easy, but it’s certainly easier to watch the Patriots score a touchdown without a cell phone in hand.
